BBQ 2011 set!
This year's BBQ will be held on Saturday, July 23 from 1-3 at Mastodon State Park Pavilion on Seckman Rd. All Seckman German Alumni as well as guests, spouses and children are welcome! We will also be conducting our 2nd annual alumni spelling bee!! And new for the first time we will have a poetry declamation contest...so better polish up those poems! Last year, thanks to facebook, was our biggest alumni bbq yet. Let's make German Alumni Sommerfest even bigger this year! Check in regularly for more details.

Is there a list of the words that will be tested on? If there is, is there anyway to get ahold of this list? Also, are there certain poems to use?

Do you remember what poem you memorized? You can use that one. It's not mandatory, just if you want to!
I thought I'd hop on the band wagon early and was going to have first choice on what to bring. I'll bring paper plates and plastic cups unless someone else beat me to it.
